Hello all! This site is a great idea and I'm sure it was a lot of work to create - thanks Jeremy!
I work at Duke Gardens in Durham, North Carolina. I am a horticulturist and specialize in the aquatic plant collections here at the Gardens. We currently grow Victoria hybrids each year from seed, as well as Euryale ferox. We also grow many lotus hybrids, as well as each species (lutea and nucifera), along with many hardy and tropical waterlily hybrids.
We are currently the growing site for the IWGS New Waterlily Competition as well! To view the hybrids entered in the contest this year, visit our website in July and August - you can also vote for your favorites! Our website is www.hr.duke.edu/dukegardens.
Looking forward to "meeting" all of you soon!
Tamara
