Hello Everyone,
My name is Carol Mccarthy. I am the greenhouse manager for the biology department at West Virginia University. I am in charge of a small roof-top greenhouse on top of the life sciences building that houses my department. It has six small research greenhouse rooms and a connecting hall way behind them. In the hallway is a small teaching collection of mostly "common" houseplant tropicals. One goal I have is to reduce the number of duplicates and add more exotic diversity. I also have responsibility for the care of a few larger plants scattered in different lobby areas of the building and a room with growth chambers. I can see this group as a really wonderful resource, especially as it gets larger.
